Artistic Journey

Lizzie has a passion for colour. ‘I believe our human connection with colour generates an energy of its own and that colours found in both Art and interior decoration can reflect and impact our mood’ How they interact with each other can change the atmosphere of a space. The colour revolution that we are moving towards expresses the need to escape and hence her move to a more vibrant colour palette. This need to change and uplift has influenced her current collection. Art for her is an enhancement of the space, a subliminal message creating a mood and is dependent on their relationship with the surroundings. She has been influenced by the work of William Croziers and Mary Fedden.

Most recently Lizzie has been abstracting form and colour within still lives and landscapes. It is this abstraction that excites and takes the viewer away from reality leaving them space to interpret the art for themselves.
